Loving Self-Talk

A simple legacy practice for meeting life with kindness.

Loving self-talk is not positive thinking.
It is not self-improvement.
It is not pretending things are okay.

Loving self-talk is the practice of not turning against ourselves when life is difficult.

The Three Lines

  1. Noting: There is despair.
  2. Owning: This is my despair.
  3. Loving: My despair, you are welcome here.

Short. Honest. Kind. No fixing required.

Start Here

Choose one feeling that is present right now (or simply choose “despair” if that is closest).
Say the three lines slowly. Pause between them. Let your body feel them.

  • Keep it to 30–60 seconds.
  • Repeat once, not ten times.
  • Gentleness matters more than effort.

Integrity Note

This site does not promise healing or relief.
It offers a simple way of meeting life with honesty, kindness, and dignity.
